OVERVIEW:In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, funding streams from various sources have been made available with different guidelines for eligible uses and reporting requirements. This webinar will provide a big picture view of the various funding options available to healthcare institutions from agencies, including Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and focus on how hospitals and other healthcare facilities can develop a recovery strategy that optimizes the use of their available recovery dollars. OBJECTIVES:Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:•Discuss the importance of tracking how all funding is obtained and applied against measured financial losses, including lost revenue and costs associated with the response to, and prevention of, COVID-19; and•Demonstrate how to support the eligible uses of funds while demonstrating that there is no duplication of benefits to mitigate de-obligation exposures and optimize funding retention from all available sources.
